The School of Service Management at the University of Brighton has been in existence for over 40 years and has gained an enviable reputation both nationally and internationally for its expertise in the fields of hospitality, retail, events, travel and tourism. The school has a large teaching portfolio that expands beyond the UK to include provision in Germany and France. It’s teaching portfolio encompasses undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and PhD’s. Each year the school educates over 800 students, and its graduates are sort around the world. In support of this the school also has a research strategy that develops new knowledge and underpins its teaching portfolio. The school also has a clear economic and social engagement strategy, working very closely with industry and the local community. The school is currently engaged in four highly acclaimed Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and provides support for a number of high profile organisations.

The school is located in the Greynore buildings of the Darley Road site in Eastbourne, about 5 minutes from the sea front, and 20 minutes from the pier and Eastbourne town centre with library, study and computing facilities catered for within the campus.
